I don't know what my favorite part was. The sequel was a complete thrill ride for me. I don't why people hate it so much. Lo's character was pretty much OK for me, tho.
The only thing I did not like was finishing the book.
I legit share a real bday with the girl who played sam/artemis!
Me probably, The T-800's Harley from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a light cycle from TRON Legacy, light runner from TRON Legacy or a podracer from Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace
If the OASIS were real, what would you design your avatar to look like?
I would be like Skylar Castillo Adkins and have a gender changing avatar with the same attire: 1973 brown leather jacket, jet-black jeans and a black T-Shirt with NKOTB written in large text in rainbow letters.
Male form: Quicksilver from X-Men Days of Future Past
Female form: Kitty Pryde from X-Men Days of Future Past
I would have chosen the Gypsy Avenger if it was on there, if not I would've done the Iron Giant
After watching Ready Player One for like the 20th time and listening to the 80s tunes featured in the film, I've been wondering about a particular song, "I Wanna Be Your Lover" by Prince, and want to know where it plays in the Ready Player One film so I know what part it's at. Does anybody know?

Like most posting about RP2, I loved RP1. But after we meet Lo, I was surprised the focus stayed on the Hi-5. RP1 was a mini-trilogy in itself. RP2 could have been the opportunity to introduce a new cast of characters. I imagine Z as King Arthur sending his knights off to do battle. The Hi-5 staying on to support as hallowed saged advisors. Hopefully RP3 or whatever it is titled will broaden the RPverse. I am voting for 'Extra Life'.
Does anyone have a list of every planet featured in Ready Player One (book)?
Are we going to start doing edits for Ready Player Two?
The best quote to sum this book comes from the movie Stranger then Fiction.
"It's okay, not the best peace of writing in the past 20 years, but it's... okay."
I loved ready player one, I thought that the movie was trash. But this... I feel like I'm being pulled between two sides. So, to keep it simple, I'm going to present both sides.
Side 1:
Oh my god. This book was so cool, everything that I loved from the original was in this book.
Side 2:
Ya, it was there, he just copied from the original.
Side 1:
But there was new things. 7 of them!
Side 2:
Taking away from each one. They didn't get the detail of the original.
Side 1:
But what about the new head gear?
Side 2:
The original was fine. It just like an excuse to break up Wade and Sam.
Side 1:
You have to admit that he took a risk by breaking them up.
Side 2:
But you know that he was just going to put them back together again.
This is what I think about all the time when it comes to the sides disagreeing. But there are somethings that they both can agree on.
Side 1:
The bad guy was SO cool.
Side 2:
Ya, we was. But not killing Og was a cop out.
Side 1:
Yes, it's true.
So, I wish I could tell you that I felt one way or another, but I can't. I think you should read it if you liked the first one. And just pray that he tries something different next time.
