Dave Strider is a character, who appears in the famous internet webcomic Homestuck, and serves as one of the four main characters within the webcomic.

He is part of the four main protagonists who in the story trigger the apocalypse by playing a game of Sburb, and eventually, as mentioned, the world comes to a crisis, and soon, complex events unfold soon after.
Role in Ready Player One[]
Supposedly, he is seen in the Distracted Globe, but then re-appears during the final battle, the Battle of Castle Anorak, wielding his sword.
