Cowboy Bebop is a 1998 anime television series animated by Sunrise. It features a production team led by director Shinichirō Watanabe, screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto, character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto, mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane, and composer Yoko Kanno.
The 26-episode series, set in the year 2071, follows the lives of a bounty hunter crew, initially consisting of comrades Spike Spiegel and Jet Black but later joined by other characters. As they travel on their spaceship called the Bebop, they have various mishaps and encounters, and the members' pasts are slowly unraveled piece by piece.
