When Parzival arrives at Halliday's Journals after winning the first challenge, he is bombarded by gunters who start taking pictures of him with their speaker drones due to his fame.
Upon his arrival on Planet Doom, Parzival summons his speaker drone and uses it to make a live broadcast to the entire OASIS asking for help from other gunters in battling IOI and the Sixers at Anorak's Castle.
In order to shut down the guarded Orb of Osuvox, Art3mis, disguised as a Sixer, sends her speaker drone to the artifact and projects her voice through it to cast the spell to shut it down. Using this method Art3mis succeeds in shutting down the force field.
