Sub Zero, called Bi-Han, was introduced in the first game of the Mortal Kombat franchise. He is one of the very few original characters debuting in the first Mortal Kombat arcade game. He holds the distinction, along with Raiden and Scorpion, of appearing in every generation of Mortal Kombat games as a playable character.

Sub Zero is a black and blue ninja with the innate power to control ice in many forms. His powers are called Cyrokenesis
Roles in Ready Player One[]
Sub Zero is seen briefly on the Racetrack, but it is unknown what vehicle he was the driver of. He's seen again at the Distracted Globe partying behind Miko and Rash. He presumably showed up during the Battle of Castle Anorak were he fought until he got zeroed out by the Cataclyst
